Skin on Garlic Mashed Potatoes

  • 2 lbs. red potatoes, cubed
  • 1 lb. yams, peeled and cubed
  • 3 tbsp. unsalted butter/ghee
  • 1 ½ tbsp. NutrKik® Original
  • ¼ cup milk (non-dairy or dairy)
  • 1 – 2 garlic cloves, pressed
  • Salt to taste

In a large deep pot place the potatoes and yams and cover with water. Bring the potatoes to a hard boil for about 15 or until tender yet firm and drain. With a potato masher, mash potatoes and yams to desired consistency. Add the butter/ghee, milk, garlic, and NutraKik® Original and mixed until smooth and creamy. Add salt to taste, serve and enjoy!

*You can also add some 2 tbsp. of grated pecorino romano for a cheesy twist
