Garlic Parmesan Brussel Sprouts

Ingredients 

  • 2 lb of Brussels sprouts
  • 1.4 cup of unsalted butter
  • 6 large garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 1/2 cups of water
  • 4 tbsp. NutraKik® Original 
  • salt to taste
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Preparation

 

Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and cut the sprouts in half lengthwise. Heat the butter in a large sauté pan large enough to hold all the Brussels sprouts in one layer. Add the garlic and cook over low heat to remove the bite, about 2 minutes. Add the brussels sprouts and water and 1 tbps of NutraKik® Original  to a depth of 1 inch and cover the pan. Simmer until tender-crisp, stirring occasionally, about 5-8 minutes. Once done place in a bowl, season with salt, 1 tbps. of NutraKik® Original  and top with the cheese. Serve at once and enjoy.
