Red Lentil Yam Soup

  • 2 tbsp. butter/ghee
  • 1 large red onion chopped
  • 1 leek chopped
  • 1 medium fennel bulb chopped
  • 10 cups of water
  • 2 cups red lentils
  • 1 yam peeled and diced
  • 6 tbsp. NutraKik® Original *
  • 1 tsp. salt

Melt butter/ghee in a large pot then add red onion, leak, fennel, and sauté until they are translucent. Add water and bring to a boil. Add yams and lentils and boil for 5-6 minutes. Cover and cook for 40-45 minutes on low. Add NutraKik® Original, salt and stir evenly. Serve and enjoy!

*Can also be made with NutraKik® Curry
